 K-8TH GRADE: Attendance Incentive: ARE YOU HERE TODAY? Every school day counts, especially in the last month of school! Attendance is important because students increase their chances of learning and growing academically and socially by being present at school. Students who are absent not only miss lessons and assignments, but they also may miss opportunities to socialize with their friends, reinforce their daily routine, and/or participate in school events. Every day for the rest of the school year, one winner from each grade level will be randomly selected to receive a special prize! Thanks to a generous donation, our current prize is an official mini-Copa America trophy! TO WIN: 1. The student must BE HERE (be marked as present) the day their name is randomly selected and called 2. The student must be PUNCTUAL (on time) or less than 60 minutes late to school If a student is absent or tardy the day their name is called, they do not receive a prize and will be added back into the raffle to be randomly selected another day.
